With extensive experience in climate research, academia, and sustainable development, Dr. Salisu has developed strong expertise in assessing climate risks, adaptation responses, human mobility, and the socioeconomic dimensions of environmental change.
His research and professional engagements cut across climate change adaptation, migration and mobility, food security, geoheritage, geoparks, sustainable development, and climate policy. Through research, teaching, publications, and collaboration, he contributes to strengthening knowledge and promoting practical solutions to climate and environmental challenges.
